Villagers in the Thar district of Sind are preparing the fields for the new crop. They await the arrival of the monsoon rains. But to their disappointment, the clouds pass them by. A village elder tells them that the clouds have been angered and have to be appeased. A group leaves the village in search of an answer. Spirit of the Forest, personified as a peacock, is dancing in all his glory The peace is broken by the entry of the frantic Houbara Bustard pursued by a ferocious falcon. The peacock watches in horror as the bustard is hunted down by the falcon. The peacock explains that the forest is being destroyed by uncaring and callous humans, who are cutting down the forest and destroying wildlife. Air Spirit is dancing above the fields, the forest and the mountains, rejoicing in her purity and freedom. The travelers enter to find her choking with the fumes emanating from factories.
She accuses them of being responsible for the pollution, which is suffocating her. The River Spirit is nurturing life as it flows by. This tranquil scene is broken by the thick polluted water of the industrial waste, which turns the life-giving river into a destroyer. The River Spirit dances in the rag. The travelers are horrified an unpleasant truth dawns upon them than Man is responsible for the destruction of forest and pollution of air and water. A wise man tells them that it is not too late. They could still save the environment and appease the clouds by resolving to put an end to practices, which endanger the environment.
