A memorial Reference for Madeeha Gauhar was held on October 25 in the Government College University. Speakers included:VC Dr. Hassan Shah, Justice (R) NasiraJavedIqbal, NaeemTahir, Professor Shaista Sonu Sirajuddin, Dr. Sobia Mubarik and Executive Director Ajoka Shahid Nadeem.

Madeeha Gauhar completed her MA in English literature from this prestigious institution and was Secretary of the Government College Dramatic Club (GCDC) and staged many plays during her tenure, “Men without Shadows” was one of her major productions. After the reference, “Kala MedaBhes”, an acclaimed Ajoka play, directed by Madeeha was presented in the Bukhari Auditorium.
