Ajoka Theatre presented its critically acclaimed play Lawrence in Lahore on May 9 and 10 at Alhamra Hall 2.

Based on the little known exploits of British spy T.E. Lawrence in the subcontinent afterWorld War I,Lawrence in Lahoreunveils hidden stories of espionage, colonial politics andthe early struggles for freedom in South Asia.

Written by Shahid Nadeem and Fawzia Afzal Khan and adapted into a bilingualproduction, the play skillfully blends historical fact with fiction to offer fresh insightsinto the Great Game and its lasting impact on the region.
