Ajoka ‘s acclaimed documentary on Lahore Museum, “ Pakistan’s Best-kept Secret” was screened at the Indus Valley International Film Festival organised by South Asian Forum for Arts and Creative Heritage. The festival, curated by Harsh Narayan, screened films from India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Iran besides Pakistan.

Ajoka created history by presenting the first-ever online theatre play on Friday 24 July. Live streamed on Facebook the play was produced on Zoom social media platform . The play “Manto Online “, an adaptation of Ajoka’s acclaimed Manto Nirvaan Nadeem and presented by Ajoka’s cating class students.

Students of Ajoka Institute’s Art of Writing-Batch 6 students showcased their talent at the end of their 3- months course at an online Dramatic Readings event on Sunday 21 June. The event was live-streamed on Facebook.

Ajoka was honoured with the Global Film and Music Award 2020 at a ceremony held in Virginia, USA. The award was given in the Theatre Performance category and was announced by the well known Virginia personality Jim Ortee

Justice (rtd) Nasira Javed Iqbal has congratulated Ajoka Theatre on holding a successful first-ever online theatre festival. She said Ajoka has responded to the challenge posed by the pandemic and lockdowns and come up with an innovative response to the restrictions on public gatherings and performances

To meet the challenges posed by the Corona Crisis, Ajoka has launched several innovative initiatives. They include: offering online acting and writing classes, starting new online course on “The Art of Success” and introducing. a pioneering “Coronalogue” Online Theatre Festival.
